 Planting Instructions

Direct Sow:

• Sow seeds outdoors after last frost, when soil is warm (18–21°C / 65–70°F)

• Plant 1" deep in rich, well-draining soil

Location:

• Full sun, with plenty of space to sprawl

• Ideal for garden beds or trellises

Spacing:

• 36–48" apart in rows 5–6 ft apart

Care:

• Water deeply and regularly

• Mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds

• Fertilize monthly with balanced organic fertilizer

Harvest:

• Harvest when stems are dry and gourds are fully coloured and hard

• Cure in a dry, warm place for 1–2 weeks for best storage
