Cladanthus arabicus

Moroccan Chamomile, also known as Palm Springs Daisy or Golden Crown, is a breathtaking summer annual that produces masses of fragrant, golden-yellow bloom. Each flower is surrounded by newly emerging side shoots arranged like spokes on a wheel, creating a fascinating multiplying effect as the plant continues to branch and bloom. The result is a dazzling display of continuous colour all season long.

The vibrant flowers rise above finely cut, aromatic, feathery foliage that adds soft texture and herbal fragrance to the garden. Native to Morocco, this chamomile relative has traditionally been used both as a garnish and for its medicinal properties. An infusion made from the flowers has been used in traditional practices to support digestive health, liver function, and blood sugar balance. The plant contains cladantholide and sintenen—rare naturally occurring compounds studied for their antidiabetic properties.
