Honeywort, also known as Cerinthe major 'Purpurascens', is a unique and eye-catching annual known for its blue-green foliage and drooping, tubular flowers in stunning shades of purple to deep indigo. The bracts turn a rich violet-blue as the plant matures, creating a striking contrast. Beloved by bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, honeywort is not just beautiful but a pollinator magnet as well.
Its otherworldly appearance makes it a standout in borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements. Despite its exotic look, it’s surprisingly drought-tolerant and easy to grow.
